The spirit grinned. “I think I’ve met you before is all. Another version, or something like that,” he spread his arms grandly, “The glory of the multiverse,” lowering his arms, he eyed the woman curiously, “So. Do you not speak either?”
Multiverse? She’d heard the word once or twice before. Probably in one of Cave’s prerecorded rants or something of the like.
She dug around for a moment in the pocket of her bright orange suit and pulled out an identification card, pointing to the last statement.
This time, he rose an eyebrow. “Uh… huh,” he smiled up at her after fully looking the card over, “Charming woman you are, Chell.”
