Yes, we all know Discord IS crying for attention, but I hope its not getting to the point where I am actually getting annoyed by my favorite character of the show…

Discord is “a whiney attention whore” though. (Not that I would regularly use that to describe him).
He has the attention span of a cocker spaniel, and unlimited power. Well, sort of unlimited now that he’s basically whipped by the Twilight and friends. He needs attention - he thrives on attention. He is a spirit of mischief and misery, and therefore the only way he normally gets said attention is by being whiney and annoying. He thinks it’s hilarious. Discord will basically do anything to get his own laugh. He is a child at heart with incredible magic abilities, and I don’t find it surprising at all that he would demand that the girls take care of him, even just for kicks. He dreads being alone, neglected, forgotten. The problem is, he only seeks attention through being “a whiney attention whore” and I’m sure the moral of the episode will have something to do with that.
Hasbro created the character, and he is written just fine. The only reason he returned at all was pretty much because of popular demand. They’re not going to ruin your beloved character, my friend. Chill. ]]
