"That right," Joe mumbled, still not quite sure of what to think of the duo. "Well. Take a seat and I’ll be right with ya. Just gotta put these bad boys in the display."
"Of course. Thank you, Joe," Celestia managed a smile before shooting Discord the kind of look you gave a misbehaving child.
He glanced over at the princess as she regained the position they had before, rolling his eyes and looking elsewhere as Joe drawled on. It was a nice place, yet he thought it could still use some flare. Perhaps something in the realm of his precious donuts exploding suddenly and coating all of the customers in frosting. Or maybe the loud ticking of a kitchen timer leading up to the imminent melting of tables and chairs, leaving folks helplessly stuck in a mess of gooey wood and plastic.
Daydreaming was interrupted as he caught Celestia’s petty glare, giving her a coy grin in response. “Right. Seating,” he nodded, breaking their eye contact to spot a free table to their left against a wall. Giving a tug, he resisted the urge to simply teleport them both to the spot and began walking over to it, “I’m surprised the beloved Princess isn’t flocked with adoring subjects,” spirit mused as they neared aforementioned destination, “Just one of the people, eh? Charmed.”
