Twilight would look up for a moment, the bag hanging above her head. She didn’t have much time to react and it would hit her directly, causing her to momentarily become disoriented, falling back a bit. Magic flowed through her hands and the bag was moved off her face, coming to her hands. She slumped it over her shoulder and started to leave, only to get stopped by Discord yet again. If there was anything that was going to make her snap, it was going to be him. But incredibly enough, she did listen to him when he brought up hiding secrets from someone. In a sense, he was right. Hiding secrets, particularly big ones was generally not a good thing. But there were exceptions to every rule, as she was about to explain.

"You’re right Discord, it is rude." She looked away from him now, breathing off the smallest of sighs. "However, there are some things you keep away, especially when the person you’d tell it to would hang it over your head, always joking and making it into a reason to mock you. And that’s exactly what you would do Discord." She growled, right hand balling up into a fist. "So why should I tell you anything?! I can barely trust you, and for good reason!" Her voice raised again, eye twitching slightly. "You’re right, I’m not telling you something, and I’m never going to tell you that. Maybe someday, when it’s all done and over with, and it’s nothing but a fleeting memory, then I’ll tell you. But until then, you’ll just have to deal with the explanation I gave to you." She stepped outside the park, watching as a few people walked down the sidewalk.  "Goodbye Discord. It was nice seeing you."

He could only float there rather awkwardly as she, very effectively, chewed him out. Ugh, she was so stern and cross - that was absolutely no fun at all. It reminded him of Fluttershy whenever he did something to upset her, and he never liked seeing her like that. Using his magic to wreak misery and annoyance among others was one thing, but this was all him, really, no magic included. A part of him wished they were close enough that she would confide in him. But that was as fleeting as her quick movement to leave.

Bored as he was, he had pretty much nothing better to do than pester her. His source of entertainment was leaving! Maybe… maybe by playing a more reformed part, he could get her to stay and chat with him. Better than hanging around that stupid rabbit at his current residence, waiting for Fluttershy to finish her usual errands.

After a brief hesitation, he called out to her as she walked away. “Twilight, wait.” Discord appeared in front of her then, pouting. “I’m sorry for prying,” he sighed, “It’s not.. my business,” converse’d feet found the sidewalk, hoping to perhaps put himself on her level with a lack of levitating magic, “I’m sure whatever’s going on with you and the Princess will pass - you’re her best student, right? Heh. Couldn’t’ve been too bad.” Cheering eachother up. That’s what friends did, right? Right.
